Working alongside Forward3D and StitcherAds we are constantly challenging the status quo and shaping our mindsets to be a true omnichannel business. We were first in the region to launch SSO which helped us optimize our Facebook ads towards driving incremental sales in store. The results speak for themselves; we saw double the ROAS (32x vs 9x) from the campaign. In addition, implementing such campaigns and understanding our customers’ behaviour across stores means we are no longer treating in-store and online as two separate departments and Facebook is helping us pave this transformation.

Challenge

Landmark Group operates Shukran Rewards, a loyalty program with over 20 million members across 57 brands. Despite ample customer data, Landmark had no way to measure online-to-offline sales or optimize against these purchase insights. For Landmark’s brand Lifestyle, nearly all sales—98%—occur in-store – amplifying the need for offline optimization.

However, Lifestyle’s in-store data was inconsistent with Facebook best practices and the brand was not yet whitelisted for Store Sales Optimization (SSO).

Leverage loyalty program data to drive in-store sales more efficiently.

Solution

StitcherAds worked with Landmark Group and Forward3D to properly structure Lifestyle’s in-store data, whilst simultaneously getting Lifestyle whitelisted directly with Facebook for SSO.

With Facebook Offline Conversions and SSO in place, StitcherAds and Forward3D collaborated to build personalized, omnichannel campaigns for Lifestyle. The teams continue to work hand-in-hand to optimize creative that resonate with target audiences.

The custom metrics feature in the StitcherAds real-time dashboard enabled Lifestyle and Forward3D to measure and interpret results with their custom data-driven attribution model.

This solution enabled the Lifestyle and Forward3D teams to optimize online campaigns to drive customers to shop in-store.


In collaboration with StitcherAds, we are constantly testing and adapting our approach for Lifestyle. We found SSO a powerful new feature to drive an increase in offline ROAS when compared to utilising other bidding methodologies, such as reach & frequency. Not only has this resulted in an increase in offline ROAS, but has also given us valuable insights into which types of creatives, placements and targeting are more likely to drive offline revenue which is fed back into our creative, testing & optimisation roadmap.”

Results

With Lifestyle whitelisted for SSO, StitcherAds helped Landmark and Forward3D successfully run the first Store Visits campaign in the Middle East North Africa region. This resulted in a 32x return-on-ad-spend, and a significant increase in Facebook spend.
